On Thursday 5th July all the new Y7 pupils who will be starting in September came and spent the day at school. They followed a special timetable, which gave them a taster of life in Senior school. All seemed to really enjoy the experience and there was lots of chitter chatter about what they had done. Science proved to be very popular and Mr Bartleman’s lesson certainly went with a bang!!! Lunch in the canteen was a ‘big hit’ and a lot of the pupils couldn’t decide which meal to have, as they liked all the choices available. In the afternoon the PE Dept along with Ms Dawe, SSCO and Y10 pupils organised a comprehensive PE programme. Even though it started to rain this didn’t dampen their enthusiasm for the activities.
